Patrick Reid O'Brien
Nationally acclaimed American artist, Patrick Reid O’Brien has been creating art since age six. As the Great, Great, Great, Great Grandson of Thomas Ustick Walter, Architect of the US Capital, design and drawing were in his genes.
After college Patrick spent the next 15 years creating branding , logos and merchandising designs for corporate clients. Eventually he left the world of advertising to devote all of his time to creating original artwork. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to create art for Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville lifestyle brand.
Like a Jimmy Buffett song, Patrick’s art connects with people and provides a little more happiness in their lives; places that have special meaning to people on a very personal level…..a beach where they grew up, the town they lived in after college, a honeymoon getaway, or even a favorite pet. Warm, colorful, and fun are words used to describe his memorable work.
You can find Patrick outdoors meeting with his fan base at a select handful of art festivals. “I love the intimacy of these shows and seeing how people respond to various pieces.” Patrick’s original work is carried in galleries and stores in 42 states and throughout the Caribbean.
