Making a good product more appealing with great artwork and a killer color palette has been my focus for the last 15 years. I adore surface pattern because it blends fun and functional, and I was lucky enough to discover its charms while studying at Syracuse University. After earning my BFA, I worked for 9 years in New York City as an in-house designer for home textiles and apparel. Deadlines, revisions and manufacturing constraints don’t scare me.
I left those cushy salaried jobs for the wild west of freelance and licensing in order to live the suburban dream in Raleigh, North Carolina. Now my husband and I have a lovely house, a yard that we desperately try to keep green, and a lovable son named Miles who was born in March 2015.
I spend my days designing for all kinds of industries, freelancing for clients like Amscan, Evite, and GapKids. I also license my art with partners including Studio M, DesignDesign, and Robert Kaufman through my agency, Jewel Branding. I love getting to design for so many different end products, and it has given me a versatile set of skills that clients love. I'm always looking for to new ways to decorate the world, so email now and we can get started on your next project.
