Barb Tourtillotte

An artist-wanna-be since early childhood, Barb (Gelotte) Tourtillotte - pronounced ‘tour-till-oh’ lives in Washington State with her husband, Kirk. They have three wonderful grown children who live in nearly Seattle.

Barb studied graphic design and illustration in college and worked as a graphic designer for a dozen years before becoming a full time illustrator.

Working mainly in watercolor, Barb now illustrates for the licensing industry working with over 70 manufacturers to which her artwork can be seen on fabrics, home decor, greeting cards, giftware, flags, rugs, apparel, paper goods and dinnerware.

In her free time, Barb loves to hike in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and – you guessed it – paint! She considers studying nature and then painting God’s amazing, detailed artistry, a form of worship.
