Sue Zipkin

Sue Zipkin has created a national following for her unique whimsical designs. Her innovative color combinations and playful artwork bring a fresh sophistication to the home furnishings and gift markets. Her art can be found on many products, including: greeting cards, stationary, home décor, paper party goods, flags, fabric, and more. Sue is very grateful to all the wonderful people who purchase art with her designs on them!

When asked what inspires her, Sue says, “I am inspired by nature, and the beauty that surrounds me in the natural world. One of the things I'm fascinated by, are hidden worlds. For example, the beautiful droplets of dew that create sparkling jewelry on a leaf, or the hidden treasures of color, texture, shape, you can find searching a tide pool.”

Currently, Sue lives with her supportive husband Bob, her sweet silly son Max, her sassy cat Sheba and a soft cuddly gecko named Fluffy. They live in a home in the suburbs of NY and their home is high on a rocky hill that overlooks a magical forest like backyard.
