Julie Paton

Julie found the perfect home for herself in the Pacific Northwest city of Seattle. She lives with her husband, a very large dog and two cats. When she’s not painting and designing her art, she enjoys gardening and many outdoor activities. Julie began her art career after college at Hallmark, where she learned to work in a variety of mediums. Soon she discovered watercolor to be her passion. Her favorite subjects for painting are flowers and the garden, which ensure endless possibilities to explore. Julie has begun to experiment with her color palette, as well as incorporate pattern and texture into her work for a rich tapestry of color and image.
